WTC Police helicopter video of New York

Paul Attivissimo with the contribution of Airone76. The article was updated after initial publication.

Cryptome.org has just released a video consists of about 17 minutes of footage taken by a police helicopter in New York.

According to the description published on the YouTube page that presents the video, it is a "video obtained through FOIA NIST by an anonymous person who gave instructions that were sent to Cryptome" . It also cited the letter of the NIST, which indicates that the video was "provided to NIST by the Department di Polizia di New York” (NYPD).

The video does not show anything that is not already documented elsewhere.

00:00 The video begins with a logo that recalls the style of those broadcasters. The first images showing the burning WTC 1 and WTC 2 already damaged. This allows you to place the beginning of recovery after 9:03 (now the second-round effects). The helicopter flies over the towers at close range. There is an audio track that seems to be the noise of the helicopter cockpit. You do not hear voices or comments by persons on board.

01:14 Cut. The helicopter is further away from the Towers. The items on board are slightly audible but unintelligible. The helicopter descends and lands in a meadow near the towers to the north. Two people down. The camera remains fixed on almost WTC1 and zooming to frame the details.

04:05 Cut. The helicopter is back in the air at some distance from the Towers and to a share higher than the towers themselves. You hear a voice on board saying "The whole side" ( "The whole side" ). Then immediately afterwards excited tone: "It's gone! It's the whole tower! " (" It's gone! Is the whole tower! " ), Followed by exclamations. Through the window you see a cloud of dust that spread among the buildings of Manhattan and WTC 2 missing, while the WTC 1 is still standing. This indicates that the shooting took place shortly after the collapse of WTC 2, which occurred at 9:59. Voice: "They knocked the whole freakin 'thing down! (cheers) It's down! The second tower's down! " followed other exchanges excited but not intelligible.

7:05 "We got out of there at the right time" ( "We are leaving at the right time ). The recovery clearly shows the extent of smoke and dust cloud in the south-east.

10:00 close-ups of the top of WTC 1 on fire.

10:29 shooting outside, on the ground, a helicopter is also on the ground. In the background you see the WTC 1. Some people speak. Someone asked if the shooting was obtained of the Towers. "I Had When I Moved to go over and got the smoke" . Voices radio incomprehensible.

11:40 You hear the sound of jet planes, presumably hunting.

12:01 Cut. The frame remains the same. "The cell service is out, so let me try my house . The sound disappears.

12:28 Cut. You see the final stage of the collapse of WTC 1. Voice radio: "The tower's down! Be Advised the North Tower is down! All personnel be Advised the North Tower is down! ". Shouts of those present. "Be Advised the whole North Tower is down!" item on site: "That's it. That's the biggest disaster in the world, right there. " A voice radio calls for assistance or respond to a request for assistance. Other radio communications unintelligible.

16:00 After a recovery in detail the interior of the helicopter and then the entire aircraft, identifying it as an Air Sea Rescue helicopter of the NYPD, N412PD brands, there is a break. Then the video resumes. The camera is on the ground, in a way unknown, and lasts a few seconds without showing anything significant.

17:03 End of video.

In the description of videos on Youtube is also provided a link from 64 megabytes to a file containing 153 photographs taken "from another helicopter dell'NYPD" . The file also contains a PDF document of NIST in which you answer the FOIA request to John Young, Cryptome.org, and speaks well of 3160 electronic files supplied with eleven discs. As indicated by the words present on the photos, this is a more complete version of the same series of images taken by John Semendinger already in February 2010 and described in this article of Undicisettembre. Show details of the damage and relief operations, but do not add anything significant in terms of events that are not documented elsewhere.
